Every business starts somewhere. Our story began in early 2020. As a doctoral student mentor, I was working on a dissertation that examined the intricacies and hurdles of real estate sales. To provide constructive feedback, I carried out comprehensive literature reviews on the subject, which allowed me to acquire significant insights into industry practices. My curiosity about the topic motivated me to secure my real estate license.


After over five years of experience in the field, I was able to validate the theoretical challenges I had studied through actual practice. The difficulties faced by real estate agents primarily arise from their inability to earn buyers' trust, a lack of knowledge and experience that prevents connecting dots in real estate transactions, failing to set appropriate expectations, and putting sales ahead of relationship-building.


Real estate agents serve as intermediaries between buyers and their ideal properties. Consequently, buyers put trust on agents to achieve the desired results. In 2025, I founded Vilas Realty Group brokerage, striving to innovate and modernize outdated home-buying practices by constructing business models centered on trust.


Our foundation of trust is built on Competency, Ethical values, and Relationships. Competency is rooted in four key deliverables: price, quality, choice, and convenience. Ethical values encompass the individual rights to property ownership, transparency in all transactions, and equitable treatment for everyone. Lastly, we prioritize nurturing relationships over merely finalizing sales.


There is a well-known saying “standing on the shoulders of giants,” referring to the idea of building on the knowledge and accomplishments of others. We understand that to serve our clients better, we need to remain innovative; therefore, we are constantly evolving and learning from academic scholars, industry experts, and regulators.


Our commitment to providing outstanding client service extends beyond the conclusion of the sale. We take pride in ensuring ongoing client satisfaction well after the initial transaction by continually advocating for their best interests.
